Our Child Care Franchise

From our founding in 1997, Lightbridge Academy has been The Solution for Working Families® and a leader in early education and child care. Our mission to “illuminate young minds while helping everyone in our Circle of Care along life’s journey” is achieved through our brand’s core values and Circle of Care philosophy, which brings parents, children, franchise owners, staff members, and entire communities together to support and enrich the health, well-being, and education of children.

We launched our franchise system in 2011 and currently have over 150 child care centers open, under construction, or in development.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

Comprehensive Training

You’ll start with a week of virtual training, then you’ll join us for a week of in-person training at our home office in New Jersey and finish up with a week of hands-on training at an operational Lightbridge Academy center. Franchise owners are required to attend franchise training, as well as your center director and assistant director.

If you don’t have a background in early childhood education, don’t worry!

During training, you’ll learn all you need to know about operating a Lightbridge Academy center, including executing our proprietary curriculum and developing a Circle of Care culture within your business.

The pre-opening preparations will include 3 weeks of our comprehensive Lightbridge Leadership franchise training:

  • Lightbridge Leadership 101 – Building a Strong Foundation
  • Lightbridge Leadership 102 – Launching to Success
  • Lightbridge Leadership 103 – Operating with Excellence

After You've Opened

We won’t let you go it alone once you’ve opened your Lightbridge Academy center. Throughout the life of your franchise, you’ll receive ongoing franchise support from us. We value learning for our franchisees and staff, so you’ll have continued access to our training portal. You’ll also be paired with a dedicated franchise business coach for the duration of your franchise agreement, giving you an invaluable resource as you grow your business.

Alongside your dedicated business coaching, you’ll be connected with other franchise owners in our network – they’ve been where you are, and they’ll be happy to share their advice for overcoming any challenges you might face.
