Centennial, CO – Pak Mail Centers of America, Inc. announces that a master franchise agreement has been signed for the development of Pak Mail centers in Panama. The city of David, the third largest city in Panama, has been identified as the location for the first Pak Mail center which is due to open in mid-April. Panama is the fifth country outside of the U.S. where Pak Mail has established master franchise partnerships.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Frank Sherman and Ted Urbanowicz, are the latest Pak Mail master franchisees and anticipate opening ten Pak Mail centers over the next 3-5 years throughout western Panama. “We found Panama to be the ideal place in which to introduce the Pak Mail concept. It is a country enjoying a healthy, growing infrastructure and becoming one of the most popular vacation destinations and attractive retirement areas in the world,” says Mr. Sherman.
Panama has a population of approximately 3.3 million and is a country experiencing rapid growth in its tourism, commerce and construction industries. The expansion of the Panama Canal currently taking place is predicted to significantly further enhance the vibrancy of the region. “After researching many types of businesses to possibly establish in Panama, we settled on Pak Mail as a natural fit. The business support services offered by Pak Mail centers, along with the menu of packing and shipping services, will be welcomed by the citizens and guests of Panama,” adds Sherman.
Established in 1984, Pak Mail is a premier specialty packing, shipping and business support franchise with more than 400 centers in the United States and over 125 international locations.
