Frozen treat and flash-frozen ice cream leader Dippin' Dots opened its newest location in Seagrove Beach, Florida. This newest franchisee business is situated on East County Highway 30A in the Seagrove Plaza, and its grand opening celebration was held on June 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Grand opening activities included giveaways every 15 minutes, live music, face painting and an ice cream eating contest. Customers at the new location also received free Dippin’ Dots while supplies lasted.
New Seagrove franchisee David Sanford said that the brand is an ice cream that sparks fun and brings friends and families together, and he had been looking forward to celebrating the grand opening of his new location. Sanford has operated other Dippin' Dots stores across Alabama and Florida since 2011. Seagrove Plaza marks Sanford's sixth franchise with the brand, in addition to his Panama City Beach and Miramar Beach, Florida, stores and his Alabama stores, which are in Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
The Seagrove Plaza location will offer a variety of flavors, including the brand's newest innovation of Redberry Sherbet and its top 2015 sellers: Banana Split, Cookies ‘n Cream made with Oreo, and Rainbow Ice.
