Global furniture franchise BoConcept has just announced its partnership with NYFW: The Shows to provide design consultation services and furniture for the Skylight Clarkson Square's VIP Lounge for New York Fashion Week, which will be held in New York City from September 7-13. This partnership comes as the Danish-based brand continues to expand across the US, including its new pop-up franchise business in NYC's SoHo neighborhood and its new corporate store, which is on the famous Madison Avenue in the city and set to open this fall.
In the NYFW lounge, the designs will include flexible and contemporary furniture pieces for office and home. Design elements from leading designers like Karim Rashid and Oki Sato, which will be a part of the lounge, will also be available in the new Madison Avenue and SoHo stores, putting the spotlight on a collection of modern yet functional pieces for the urban-minded apartment dweller or homeowner
Brand US Marketing Director Steen Knigge said the company is honored by its inclusion in such a iconic fashion industry event, particularly because much of the brand's inspiration has roots in the high fashion world. With this new partnership, BoConcept will be able share its progressive design elements with the biggest minds in fashion around the world.
Currently, BoConcept has close to 300 stores across 60 countries and is providing a lot of franchise opportunities in the US as it seeks to expand more into the market. There are 16 locations in the US from coast to coast, and there are more franchise opportunities available in several areas. The franchise fee is $30,000, and the initial investment ranges from $350,750 to $1,052,700. Qualified applicants will need to have a net worth of at least $400,000, with $200,000 or more liquid.
