Midwest coffee franchise business Scooter's Coffee, which has had a growth burst over the last year, is preparing to open its 91st location. The newest store is in Ogallala, Nebraska, and its Friday, June 8th opening day is going to be marked with a celebration that includes giveaways all day. The first 100 customers will receive a $5 gift card with their purchases, and the first 50 people through the door starting at 1pm will get a free branded coffee mug with their orders. Finally, the first 50 customers from 4pm will get a Scooter's t-shirt with their purchases.

Brand CEO Mike Rogers says the company is thrilled to bring their coffee to a new city in Nebraska, their home state. He also recognized the strong response the brand and new location have received from the local community.

Randy Fair and Curt Van Laningham are the people who took on the Ogallala franchise opportunity with the coffee brand. According to Van Laningham, the response from the area has been outstanding, and they hope local residents will feel at home in the new location.

From June 11 to June 30, this location will have a buy one, get one free discount on its drinks available on the brand's mobile app. This app also allows customers to pay for orders quickly using a bar code that is linked to a registered gift card from the brand, which also has a loyalty program and other engaging features. A digital "punch card," customers receive smiley faces when they purchase via the app, and they can redeem those faces for a free drink once they've collected 12 of them.

Scooter's Coffee has close to 200 stores across 16 states, with more than 150 active franchise commitments for new locations. Other recent new locations include stores in South Dakota, Iowa and Kansas, with Texas, Colorado, Arkansas, Nevada and more also targeted for expansion.

Started back in 1998 in Nebraska, Scooter's is known for its baked fresh pastries, hand-tampered espressos, and their roasted shade-grown coffee, which is a practice that helps protect rain forests. This franchise opportunity has an initial investment range of $334,000 to $514,000.
