The Pizza Press Fires Up New CA Franchise Business

Date

Oct 17, 2016

Build-your-own pizza franchise The Pizza Press has just announced the grand opening of a new franchise business in the North Hollywood Arts District of California. This new store is in the Studio 77 complex on Lankershim Boulevard, right in the heart of the district. Open from 11 am to midnight each day, the Studio 77 location is 2,260 square feet and features an 800 square-foot patio, so it can accommodate more than 70 guests at one time.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for October 13th, complete with a "Great Pizza" giveaway. Open to the public, this event will feature on-tap craft beer, handcrafted ice cream treats and free pizza for visitors who sign up online before the event.

This unique fast-casual chain has a 1920s newspaper-era theme, letting its customers "publish" their own pizza when they select from a diverse list of cheeses, sauces, toppings and fixings. They also offer signature pizzas such as the olive-oil based "The Chronicle" and the white sauce and chicken combo of "The Herald." Know for their big craft beer selection, the new location will have at least 20 different types of beer on tap, including local brews and rare editions.

The Studio 77 store is owned by new husband-and-wife franchisee team Hilda and Levon Setrakian. The couple are longtime locals to the arts district, and Mrs. Setrakian said they were both excited to become more engaged with the community through their new business. Their new store is the seventh location of the Pizza Press, with other stores currently operating in West Hollywood, Orange, Pasadena, Fullerton, Anaheim and Costa Mesa.

Franchise Opportunities Now Available

Started in the Anaheim Resort district in 2012, this fast-causal, build-your-own pizza chain is starting to gain some serious steam. Qualified applicants will have at least $200,000 in liquid assets available per location. The franchise fee is $35,000, and the total initial investment typically ranges from $311,000 to $650,500.
