The Pizza Press Plans Its 2018 Franchise Business Boom

Date

Mar 22, 2018

Build-your-own pizza brand The Pizza Press is taking its slice of the fast-growing pizza category. This franchise reached a total of 84 awarded franchises last year - a new record - and is aiming to have 50 franchise business locations open in 2018 while awarding at least another 25 more units.

Brand Founder and CEO Dara Malecki said the company aimed for 2017 to be a year of foundation building for growth. According to the CEO, by focusing on the building of a development system, a strong corporate team and a solid infrastructure, the company was able to set standards effectively and bring in a diverse franchisee network. The company saw a 517 percent boost in franchise unit sales during the period from the beginning of 2015 to the close of 2017 alone.

2018 has already been labeled a breakout year by this creative pizza chain, as the company plans to increase its brand recognition and growth at home and overseas. Already outside of its Southern California territory, The Pizza Press has had qualified applicants take advantage of its franchise opportunities in Washington, Nevada, Texas, North Carolina, Florida and Colorado domestically and in China internationally. This pizza brand has started off 2018 with 30 new stores set to open by the end of the third quarter and 50 in total to open by the end of 2018, which is triple the number of locations open in under a year.

One factor behind this innovative pizza company's growth may be its unique concept, which elevates the build-your-own pizza experience with its immersive 1920s newspaper theme and brings in menu items of today, including craft beer from local suppliers.

The Pizza Press is currently offering franchise opportunities across both the east and west coasts and in the southern states. The franchise fee is $35,000 and the initial investment ranges from $455,350 to $791,500.
