Glen Willard joined River Street Sweets • Savannah’s Candy Kitchen in 2015, as the candy franchise company’s very first franchisee. Though he’s been in the food businesses for a number of years, and has owned several small businesses, it wasn’t until Glen joined River Street Sweets • Savannah’s Candy Kitchen that his business goals became a reality.

With a prime location at Tanger Outlets in Pooler, Georgia, Glen has not only been able to capitalize on a popular tourist destination, but thanks to support from the River Street Sweets • Savannah’s Candy Kitchen franchise development team, he has also introduced a mobile ice cream cart to increase his revenue potential.
And, while he’s been able to develop his business by pulling from prior experience and expertise, Glen credits the quality of the products that he sells and the fact that he can make them in store, in front of his customers, to being a big driver in his business’ popularity.
“We have the best recipes, the best ingredients and I get to meet a lot of people to share these wonderful products with. It’s such a fun environment and it’s so rewarding watching the faces of my guests as they enter the store with wide smiles.
