May 19, 2008 - (DALLAS, Texas) – Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants announced today Mike Sebazco and Jenny Chung have joined Dickey’s corporate team in Dallas. Sebazco, Dickey’s new Vice President of Operations, will oversee the company’s strategic sales and branding efforts. As Purchasing Manager, Chung will lead Dickey’s purchasing and supply chain processes.

“We are extremely pleased to have Mike and Jenny join us,” said Dickey’s President Roland Dickey, Jr. “The experience and expertise they bring to their respective positions will help advance Dickey’s aggressive growth strategy. We look for individuals who share our passion for delivering high-quality product at a high-value and Mike and Jenny’s track records prove they will be assets to Dickey’s Barbecue.”

Mike Sebazco has spent more than 17 years in restaurant operations. Prior to joining Dickey’s, he was the Director of Operations for Boston Pizza Restaurants. There he was responsible for seven corporate locations and 47 franchise locations.

“I am very excited to join the Dickey’s team. They have a proven track record, a highly compelling unit economic model and a product that our guests absolutely crave,” he said. “The team is focused on the guest experience and is committed to continually improving the Dickey’s brand without getting away from what makes Dickey’s special, great food in a hospitality-rich environment.”

Chung brings more than 10 years of experience in the retail/direct selling, restaurant and franchise industries. Most recently she was a buyer for a Texas-based home interior company where she is credited with increasing sales in a number of categories by revamping product assortments.

“My goal is to streamline the purchasing and supply chain process as well as implement cohesive purchasing programs that will make the jobs of our Owner/Operators easier and more efficient so they can continue to offer guests the great dining experience that Dickey’s is known for.” said Chung.

With 90 locations nationwide, Dickey’s is the fastest growing barbecue chain in the country. The company recently announced a shift in its business model, introducing a fast casual concept designed to take barbecue mainstream. For Dickey’s, already well-known through out the country for its flavorful, hickory-smoked barbecue and friendly atmosphere, fast casual means scaling down from 4,500 square-feet, buffet-style restaurants to a 1,500 square-foot, renovated space with a family-focused, serve-at-your-table feel.
