HouseMaster’s President Becomes Member of the International Franchise Association’s Franchisee Congress
Program Stresses the Importance of Franchising to the Nation’s Economy
Bound Brook, N.J. (February 5, 2010) HouseMaster, the first and one of the largest home inspection organizations in North America, is pleased to announce that its President, Kathleen Kuhn, has accepted an invitation to become a member of the International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchise Congress. Modeled after an actual franchise system, the Franchise Congress program is a nationwide network of franchise business advocates who work to ensure that elected officials remain informed on the importance of franchising to the nation’s economy. Kuhn will act as a liaison for New Jersey franchisors and key government officials.

The goal of IFA is to ensure that elected members of Congress have a relationship with at least one franchise-business owner in their state or district in order to build local relationships on a grassroots level.
Becoming a member of the Franchise Congress is a continuation of Kuhn’s active participation in IFA and HouseMaster’s over 25 year membership with the group. She resumes her spot as a panelist at IFA’s 2010 Annual Conference February 5-8, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas. Kuhn’s session entitled “Top 10 Ideas for a Successful Annual or Regional Meeting” will discuss cost savings strategies, sponsorship opportunities, how to find the right speakers for an event, hotel contract negotiation and how to boost event attendance.
