SALT LAKE CITY - TCBY (www.tcby.com), the
leading frozen
yogurt concept, recently expanded its footprint in North
Carolina with a new store now open in Charlotte — marking the 28th
store in North Carolina. The owner of the new location is Samuel
Batt, a TCBY franchise
area developer for North and South Carolina.
Although Batt now owns eight stores, this location is the first to open since he signed as an area developer to open an additional 23 stores. The new store, located at Town Center Plaza at 8550 University City Boulevard in Charlotte, is 2,000 square feet and features TCBY’s new self-serve concept, which allows customers to make their own frozen yogurt treat by choosing from 12 available flavors and mixing in a variety of toppings.
“This new store in Charlotte is yet another representation of our commitment to expand TCBY in North Carolina,” said Tim Casey, CEO of TCBY. “Our new area developer agreement with Samuel Batt will facilitate 23 new TCBY locations in the Carolinas within the next three years, and this new store in Charlotte is one of the first to open as part of this expansion.”
