known for his momentous moves on the field; now he will be known
for his most recent business move off the field. Coming down from
the Colorado mountains, Smiling Moose Deli has finally migrated to
Dallas and has found a perfect co-owner in Daryl "Moose" Johnston
and the perfect home for their first Metroplex location in West
Plano at Hebron Parkway/Park Boulevard, one block west of
Midway.
With the popular synergy that has always existed between Colorado and Texas; it was only a matter of time before the widely popular Smiling Moose Deli opened a location in Dallas. "We've got a Colorado-style flavor that locals will appreciate, along with prices that will make everyone happy," says Daryl Johnston. Ronnie Davis, Owner of Playmaker Marketing and 20 year veteran sports executive whose worked with the Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers and Stars and also co-owner of Smiling Moose Deli, attributes the success of Smiling Moose Deli to "how seriously they take connecting to customers, and how that also includes the store's environment." "We're not just selling sandwiches - we're selling atmosphere," says Kevin Sloane, President of Smiling Moose Deli Franchise Company. Our delis are a reflection of our fun and easygoing lifestyle and a place for our guests to feel at home and enjoy a memorable meal amidst a warm décor with bright colors, custom upholsteries and an environment that showcases Dallas' professional sports teams but with a Colorado flair including ski and snowboard themes. There is even a Mini Mo Clubhouse which is perfect for kids and families.
Smiling Moose Deli opened their first location in Vail Valley in 2003, and over the years has steadily grown across Colorado by creating a fun, relaxing environment for fast paced diners and their families. Within the past year, the Moose has launched additional stores across the nation, with new locations in Montana, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Texas…soon expanding with several new stores in north and west Texas in 2012 and beyond.
