Transmission industry leader AAMCO
Transmissions, Inc. just announced that its service center
in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is being recognized by the local The Military
Order of the Purple Heart chapter for its dedication to area
veterans. The Tulsa franchise business location is owned by the
brand's biggest franchisee, Ronda and Thomas Scott, and it has been
providing discounted services to veteran residents for over a
year.
Franchisee Ronda Scott says that when Tulsa manager Ron Smith
received a call from the local chapter because a Purple Heart
recipient needed a new transmission, the couple knew they had to
help. Since that first call, the center has helped ten other
veterans in the local community with their cars and even replaced
one car completely. According to Scott, the brand is a strong
supporter of the U.S. Armed Forces, and it's the company's duty to
thank those who have served the country in any way
possible.
The Scotts bought the Tulsa location back in November 2013 and
bought a second franchise for sale less than six months later. They
quickly made the two locations a success, and both centers are now
top performers in their region.
Brand Chief Operating Officer Rob Rajkowski spoke of the
company's pride over the Tulsa franchisees and their center manager
for the dedication and initiative they've shown the local community
through their veteran support. Many AAMCO franchisees give back to
their local communities on their own, said Rajkowski, and the
franchiser is dedicated to supporting those local
initiatives.
There are still franchises for
sale
AAMCO has been an industry leader in the transmission segment
for more than 50 years and is also an emerging force in the total
car care market. This award-winning brand has earned several
accolades and recently earned the top spot in this year's
Entrepreneur Franchise 500 in its category.
Franchise opportunities are available in many markets
across the country. Qualified applicants with have a net worth of
$250,000 or more with at least $65,000 liquid per unit. The
franchise fee is $39,500, with qualifying veterans eligible for a
discount, and the total investment ranges from $227,400 to
$333,000.
