AAMCO Transmissions, Inc., the total car care leader and largest transmission specialist chain in the world, just announced that 17 current franchise business owners have agreed to expand their portfolios and take over existing brand locations across the country. All franchisees signed new agreements over the past 18 months, and the move impacts service centers in cities across Virginia, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, California and Florida.
Brand Senior Vice President of Franchise Support Brian O'Donnell says the new agreements are simply a testament to the brand's strength and reflect the confidence of its franchisees. According to O'Donnell, the franchiser has made multiple investments into the brand to further enhance its already proven business model and better position its franchisees for success. The VP says the total car care leader is currently experiencing record growth that is benefiting its franchisees because of these efforts.
AAMCO is also contributing to its rapid growth through significant investments in professional development and training for brand franchisees and their employees, an enhanced sales system and a new financing program for customers. The transmission giant is also partnering with Global Powertrain Systems to allow its franchise business owners to offer re-manufactured transmissions to customers for an even greater value.

With decades of operations in the industry and close to 700 locations in North America, AAMCO is a respected transmission franchise and an emerging total car care leader. Currently, this brand is seeking both single and multi-unit franchisees in several markets. To qualify for this opportunity, an applicant must have a net worth of at least $250,000, with $65,000 in liquid assets available per unit. The franchise fee is $39,500, with discounts available for eligible veterans, and the total investment runs from $227,400 to $333,000 on average.
