High-quality, value-based fitness franchise Blink Fitness announced the opening of a new location in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn. The much-anticipated club is on Flatlands Avenue and officially opened its doors on June 21st. My Time Inc. Founder and Executive Director Lucina Clarke said the organization is excited to receive the large donation from Blink. According to Clarke, the partnership with the fitness franchise business lines up perfectly with the nonprofit's program aimed at teaching parents the importance of physical and emotional wellness. With this donation, parents will receive an outlet they can use to work on their own well being and become stronger parents.
Blink Fitness and My Time Inc. representatives also held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the gym to the public, and some visitors to the new location received Blink Fitness gear. One lucky attendee won a one-year membership to the Canarsie location.
This newest club will feature cutting-edge strength equipment, including upper and lower body machines, free weights and plates. There are also premium cardio machines and a dedicated multi-use space for stretching, training and other exercises. Members who want a customized experience may work with one of the club's certified personal trainers to develop a tailored routine.
