Casual eatery Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar officially opened its Casa Grande, Arizona, location to the public on Monday, April 11th, but it held an invitation-only grand opening celebration the Saturday before. The new 10,000-square-foot location on N. Cacheris Court invited the media, friends, family and the Caring Hands of Pinal County food bank in early for a sneak peek. Guests were also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the food bank.
The Casa Grande Boston franchise business is expected to create around 85 new jobs and will offer more than 80 items on its menu, including pastas, wings, gourmet pizzas, specialty dishes and fresh salads.
According to the new owners, Marina and Jeff Stephenson and Sariena and Ken Cline, all investors from Canada, and local businessmen Piyush Patel and Smita Patel, the Casa Grande location was attractive because of the large number of Canadian visitors it attracts in the winter. The Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar brand is well known in that country, and Piyush Patel says that more than 300,000 Canadians visit the Casa Grande area in the winter.
