The unique fast casual franchise Burger 21 has engaged leading design and branding firm consultants Brand Architecture for a brand platform refresh. The consultancy will also help Burger 21 rebrand the next-generation experience for its customers.
Best know for its Time Square Coca-Cola sign and rebrands of World of Bear and Outback Steakhouse, Brand Architecture will give Burger 21 branding and design solutions that communicate an authentic platform throughout all of its consumer touch-points. Burger 21’s future visuals will include a new logo and packaging and new chairs and uniforms, all of which are more closely aligned with the fast casual franchise’s culture, goals and customers.
Brand Architecture President and CEO Fred Terral spoke of the company’s enthusiasm for working with Burger 21, citing the brand’s popularity explosion and strong foundation as advantages on which Brand Architecture can build. According to Terral, Brand Architecture will create an authentic brand experience that will excite and please customers.
Burger 21, which opened in 2010, strives to offer a gourmet burger experience without the price tag normally associated with that type of food. To date, Burger 21 has 18 locations across New York, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina, with around 20 more in development across eight more states.
The Vice President of Concept Development and Burger 21 Co-Founder Arlene Johnston also spoke of her company’s excitement about the Brand Architecture partnership. Johnston noted that the rapid growth Burger 21 has experienced over the past five years is on pace to continue, and this brand refresh will help position the company as it continues to expand across the United States.
