Fitness innovator Crunch recently announced a new location on Centre Avenue in Bellmore, New York, that is set to open in March 2016. The franchiser is bringing its combination of fitness and fun and its ''No Judgments" philosophy to Long Island.
The Centre Avenue location is conveniently located at the corner of Pettit and Centre Avenues right outside the Long Island Railroad Station. Its location will make it easy for those commuting to stop in after or before work.
Crunch Bellmore is 28,000 square feet, and the club features top-of-the-line strength training and cardio equipment, locker rooms with changing rooms and shower facilities, HydroMassage® and tanning. For those interested in joining who have kids, there is a babysitting service available for children from the age of six months to twelve years.
The Crunch franchise business is known for its unique group fitness programs, and this location will offer a full slate of classes, including Yoga Body Sculpt, BodyWeb with TRX®, BOSU® Bootcamp, Zumba®, Cardio Tai Box, and Fat Burning Pilates. The franchiser’s signature "Ride" classes will be held in the indoor cycling studio.
Members interested in guidance can also join Camp Crunch, a program in which people of any fitness level can work individually with an experienced trainer. In Camp Crunch, a trainer develops a personalized plan to help a member meet his or her fitness goals through personal training, nutrition programs and small group training.
The Bellmore location is the second store owned by Bellmore natives Valerie, Lewis and Justin Breslau. The franchisees also opened a Crunch health club in West Babylon in 2014, and they are planning to open more clubs in Long Island in the next few years.
Justin Breslau spoke of the family’s excitement about opening a Crunch Fitness location in their hometown. According to Breslau, they are looking forward to offering a great health club experience to their neighbors in Bellmore, Wantagh, Merrick and the surrounding areas.
