Right at the start of the holiday season, new Experimax franchisee Kevin Lynn brought the Apple-based repair and retail concept to Cape Coral. The new Santa Barbara Boulevard location will serve customers throughout the area, including Punta Gorda, Estero and Pine Islands, Lehigh Acres and Fort Myers.
The newest addition to industry veteran United Franchise Group’s stable, Experimax aims to take advantage of the sustained consumer demand for Apple products. At Experimax, pre-owned Apple devices such as MacBooks and iPhones are refreshed and resold to consumers at a lower price point than new devices. All items sold come with a 90-day warranty, and defective returns that can’t be fixed by the franchise business are replaced.
Other Experimax services include Apple product repair and upgrade and screen repair for mobile devices. While repairs and sales remain the business’s core, consumers can also sell pre-owned Apples products to an Experimax store in exchange for a trade-in credit on other products.
Accessories are another revenue stream, with cables and adapters sold at its locations along with phone, tablet and laptop cases.
Experimax: The Innovative Franchise Opportunity
Experimax is two businesses rolled into one, with customers looking to buy able to find an Apple device that fits their budget and customers who need help taking advantage of the repair services. The brand is also part of the United Franchise Group, a veteran in the industry with more than 30 years of experience.
Currently, Experimax is looking for franchisees who are interested in a growth opportunity. While it is a tech business, training is provided, and many tech aspects are handled by store employees rather than franchisees.
Qualified candidates will ideally have a business or management background, a net worth of at least $49,500, and be prepared to be hands-on because absenteeism is not allowed. The initial franchise fee is $49,500, and the total investment ranges from $136,808 to $275,090.
