Polished casual dining franchise business The Melting Pot® Restaurants, Inc. announced it has been named the No. 2 casual dining restaurant in the 2016 Consumer Picks Report from Nation's Restaurant News.
Mike Lester, the company's President, said the chain prizes customer feedback above all else and that this ranking is a testament to their customer service dedication. According to Lester, the brand is incredibly honored to be named the No. 2 casual dining restaurant chain and will continue to put focus on offering unique and delicious food to entice the customers to keep coming back for more.
The Consumer Picks Report measures consumer perception of restaurant brands in four different dining categories. Nation's Restaurants News, along with research firm WD Partners, polled more than 37,000 people to score brands on factors such as food quality, service as well as atmosphere. Survey participants’ responses were then analyzed and used to create overall scores and provide the final ranking. In the casual dining brands category, the fondue chain came in at No. 2 in menu variety, "likely to recommend," "food quality," "craveability" and "reputation" and at No 1. in "atmosphere and service."
Dan Stone, Chief Business and People Development Officer at affiliated restaurant management firm the Front Burner, noted that it's an exciting time to be a part of the fondue chain. Stone says the brand has received numerous awards and recognition over the last three years and has little to none competition in the fondue segment.
