Fast-growing pizza brand Little Caesars Pizza just opened its first location in The Bahamas as part of its international expansion in the Caribbean. This new franchise business is part of a growth explosion in the region this year, joining new entries into the markets in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Trinidad.
Barrett McDonald, Managing Partner for the new location, said he and his partners are thrilled to be a part of the brand's growth in the Caribbean. According to McDonald, demand for the pizza chain is very strong in the area and that trend is expected to continue.
The new location's grand opening celebration was held on April 28 and 29. It included giveaways, face painting, games and live entertainment from local radio station Hot 91.7. Attendees included local community members, Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers’ Confederation leader Edison Sumner, and the President of Student Government Association of the University of The Bahamas, Keyron Smith. Brand officials were also celebrating this milestone, and the pizza chain's Director of International Development Mike Therrian noted that the company is very positive about its future in the Bahamas thanks to the strong demand.
