AAMCO, the total car care leader and the biggest transmission specialist in the world, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Bristol, Pennsylvania, franchise. The event took place on June 18th at the new center on Durham Road.
The festivities kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the revealing of a parking spot exclusively for service members wounded in military actions following 9/11. There was music and an onsite appearance from a leading Philadelphia radio station, and there were also refreshments, prize giveaways and a bounce house for younger visitors.
Sherri and Sam Underland are the franchisees of the new Bristol location, and the couple relocated their existing franchise business on Bristol-Emilie Road to the brand-new, larger service center on Durham, which has ten bays. Two of the bays are quick lube, which are used for speedy oil changes. Sherri Underland said that she and her husband are excited to share their grand opening event with local residents and special guests, noting that the new center will allow the couple to better serve the community and assist more customers.
AAMCO has been an industry leader for more than 50 years, with close to 700 automotive centers in the United States and Canada. Once known solely as a transmission specialist brand, the franchise has since evolved into a total car care business, offering services such as tune-ups, brake repair, maintenance and more.
Recently coming in at the number one spot in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 ranking in the transmission repair category, AAMCO currently has franchises for sale across the country. The franchise fee is $39,500, and the total investment ranges from $227,400 to $333,000. Applicants who qualify for one of these franchises for sale will have a net worth of at least $250,000, with $65,000 or more in liquid capital available.
