PuroClean Offering Free Franchise Business to Vets

Date

Sep 05, 2018

Top remediation and restoration franchise business PuroClean is giving military veterans the chance to win a free franchise for the first time. Under the brand’s PuroVet program, one veteran seeking a franchise opportunity will have the initial fee covered.

All reserve, honorably discharged, retired and active-duty veterans may apply or be nominated by someone from the public at BeAPurOVet.com, with entries this year due by September 10. Veterans who wish to enter have to submit a business plan and resume. The plans and resumes will be reviewed by a group of the brand’s executives, who will grade entries on preparedness, profitability and overall business acumen. Those who earn the top five grades from the entry pool will receive an invitation to meet with Steven White, the CEO and President of the brand. White is also a former US Army captain and part of the VetFran committee with the International Franchise Association.

White said veterans are strong leaders and do well in a franchise system, and he hopes that the free franchise opportunity will help veterans across the US see what post-service life could be like for a successful entrepreneur.

The winner of this contest will be announced on the “Military Makeover: Operation Career” series on Lifetime in November.

This disaster clean-up and remediation brand has been recognized for its efforts to create a entrepreneurial opportunity that is profitable for military veterans. The company was just named top franchise for vets by “Military Times.” It’s also part of the prestigious Franchise 500 list by Entrepreneur Magazine for 2018.

Current brand franchise and veteran Doug Baillie, who has been with the remediation franchise business since 2013, said his own military experience gave him a great foundation for his entrepreneurship transition. According to Baillie, who was with the Navy for 30 years, being a franchisee with the brand is like being the “captain of a ship,” with backup always available in the form of the corporate team and other franchisees.

On top of the free franchise opportunity, PuroClean gives qualified Armed Forces vets a discount of $12,500 off the $71,190 to $99,305 franchise fee and additional savings via equipment vendors. This brand is currently seeking veterans and others to join its 260-plus network of franchisees across North America.
