Renewable energy solutions and sustainability advisor services provider SuperGreen Solutions (SGS) is partnering with leading media audit firm iCompli Sustainability to create a sustainability certification program for small and midsize businesses that want to operate in a more sustainable manner. This program will help businesses address environmental issues and stand out from competitors by gaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard certification, which is recognized around the globe.
SGS President David Goodman says the franchise business is thrilled to bring this certification to smaller and midsize firms. Previously, ISO 14001 was mainly used by large corporations to manage their impact on the environment. SGS saw the potential of bringing this standard to smaller business and worked with iCompli to develop a program that would meet the needs of this marketplace.
iCompli Sustainability Services Director Joe Rizzo also noted that bringing this certification into the small and midsize business arena has the potential to accelerate change, as these are the types of businesses that make up the majority of organizations.
ISO, or The International Organization for Standardization, is a global body made up of representatives from several national standard organizations. Started in 1947, this organization promotes commercial, industrial and proprietary standards worldwide, and its ISO 14001 is among its most commonly-used standards today.
SuperGreen Solutions has 80 operations across 18 counties and is a leading sustainability advisor globally. This brand offers businesses ways to lower costs and drive revenue through green initiatives, and it offers a comprehensive sustainability certification by leading, assessing, training and installing all operational updates and materials necessary for the green certification.
Currently, SGS has franchise opportunities in several markets. The total initial investment for one of these franchise opportunities is $65,000, which includes the $49,500 franchise fee.
