Our humble origins started in 2005 with my brother and me. 3. What was your background prior to joining Generator Supercenter™?
My brother and I have started several ventures together as young entrepreneurs. When we started Generator Supercenter™ I was selling Mattresses and my brother had a dry cleaners. We were both in our early 20”s. I had been an electrician’s helper at one point of my life but for the most part we were green to the industry with no experience. So we hired the right people. Something we still do today. I passed my Master Electrical exam as one of the youngest Master Electricians in Texas. Now we have solutions for every problem as well as methods and techniques we teach our franchisee’s so they don’t have to start with the learning curve we experienced. They learn how to sell and install generators to make money.

The more time we spend with the franchisee up front and the time we spend in the first few weeks of the opening of that location sets the tone for the right atmosphere to succeed.
8. Do you have a mentor and is their someone you use for inspiration?
Yes, we have a mentor who was involved early on in our business to teach us the right habits, ethics and standards that has influenced our company to be a cut above the rest. When we would have meetings he would invite giants of the business world to give us guidance and direction. Now we have that chance to share what we have learned with our franchisees.
